Boston's Birthday train

For Boston's birthday Frank's dad arranged to borrow this train from a friend.  We had it for the whole weekend.  It was a really cool surprise.  The boys loved it!  All the neighborhood kids loved it too.  They all wanted a ride.  Frankie and Boston enjoyed the attention and had fun sharing.  One of the moms told us her kids got all their chores done early on Saturday just in case we came by with the train again.

A good baby

So far Chase is a wonderful baby.  He is eating and sleeping well.  And he's so stinkin' adorable.  I'm so blessed to be his mom.

Boston's 2!!

Boston is our little train enthusiast so it was only fitting to give him a Thomas the Train themed party. We had the party at a really nice park in Anthem that has a train ride. All the kids enjoyed playing on the playground and getting wet at the splash pad, except for Boston. He spent most of his time playing with his new train set. He was doing what he loves. The train ride was the highlight for Boston. He rode in the front and waved to everyone like a celebrity.

Can't believe he's 2 already and about to be a big brother!

4-D Ultrasound Pictures

Here's a good picture of Baby Chase's face.
You can even see the hair on his head!!
His arm is partially covering the left side of his face.

Here's a good profile shot.

Chase is sticking his tongue out in this picture.

His hand is covering part of his face again.
You can still see he's puckering his lips for a kiss.

Wow! You can see even more of his hair in this view.
What a sweet face! I can't wait to meet this little guy!

So, at first glance, who do you think he looks like?

My Baby Shower

This Saturday was my baby shower. I had such a great time. Gloria & Tiffany did an amazing job planning the whole thing. The set-up was so neat. There were 3 tables: one for Baby Frankie, one for Baby Boston and one for Baby Chase. Each table was set beautifully with pictures of each boy. Chase's table only had ultrasound and belly pictures, of course. It was a really special time with friends and family celebrating the new baby we are all anxiously awaiting to welcome.

What a spread!

Surprised with the crib bedding

The Kindergartener

I can't believe my baby went off to school!  Frankie 1st day of kindergarten was August 18th.  He loves it and is doing really well.  He goes half day every day at Northwest Christian School.  He has a really nice teacher named Mrs. Yarrow.

Frankie's lost his 1st tooth

Frankie has had a loose tooth for about a week now and he's been wiggling it around with his tongue. At lunch yesterday he bit into his turkey sandwich and said, "Mom, there's red stuff in my sandwich." I realized it was blood and told him to open his mouth but I didn't see his tooth. I was a little concerned that he might have swallowed it. I picked up his sandwich and found it stuck in the bread. Luckily it was quick and painless. He didn't even notice it. He was a little shaken up afterwards and said his tummy hurt and he needed to lay down on the couch for a little while. I think he was just anxious because he didn't expect it to happen that way and he didn't know what would happen now that he has a big hole in his mouth. He was very excited about the tooth fairy though. He carefully tucked his tooth into the little pillow and dreamed of what the tooth fairy might leave him. This morning he greeted me saying "Cha-ching, cha-ching," proudly showing off his crisp new dollar bill.
